Log Clean and Press for Reps
Athletes have 60 seconds to clean and press as many reps as possible.
Each rep must be cleaned from the floor.
Athlete must wait for the down command from the judge for the rep to count.
Athlete may not rest the log on their head.
Athlete may press the log overhead using any technique they prefer, including strict press, push press, split jerk, and viper press.
Lockout Standards – Athlete must demonstrate full lockout with their hips, knees, and elbows extended. Feet must be parallel, and the head must be pressed through. Athlete must show control of the log. Accommodations for physiological limitations must be discussed with the judge beforehand and are subject to the judge’s discretion.
Equipment Allowed:
Chalk, Sleeves, Belt, Knee Wraps, Grip Shirts
Equipment Not Allowed:
Tacky, Spray Tack, Elbow Wraps
Yoke Walk
Athlete has 60 seconds to carry the yoke 50 feet / 15 meters, turn around, and carry it 50 feet back.
Only the front of the yoke must cross the line.
Athlete can start under the yoke but may not pick it until the start command.
Athletes will receive a time if they finish the event, or a distance if they do not.
Athlete may receive a 2 second slide penalty for sliding across the line, under the judge’s discretion.

Equipment Not Allowed:
Tacky, Spray Tack
DHL Truck Pull
This is a harness truck pull with rope assist. We may change it to arm-over-arm depending on convention center flooring conditions.
Athlete has 60 seconds to pull the truck 50 feet / 15 meters.
Athlete will receive a time if they finish the event, or a distance if they do not.

Chalk, Sleeves, Belt, Knee Wraps
Equipment Not Allowed:
Tacky, Spray Tack, Gloves
Farmer’s Walk
Athlete has 60 seconds to carry the farmer’s implement 50 feet / 15 meters, turn around, and carry it 50 feet back.
Only the front of the farmer’s implement must cross the line.
Athlete can start with their hands on the farmer’s implement but may not pick it until the start command.
Athletes will receive a time if they finish the event, or a distance if they do not.
Athlete may receive a 2 second slide penalty for sliding across the line, under the judge’s discretion.

Max Barbell Deadlift
Last Person Standing Deadlift
Athlete will have 30 seconds per attempt.
Athlete may step in and out at any weight.
Athlete must wait for the down command from the judge for the rep to count.
Deadlift must be conventional. Hands must be outside of legs. No sumo, no jefferson deadlift.
Starting weight is 397lbs / 180kg for men, 220lbs / 100kg for women.
22lb/10kg weight increments for men, and 11lb/5kg weight increments for women.
Lockout Standards – Competitors must demonstrate full lockout with their hips and knees locked out, and their shoulders neutral. Competitors must show control of the bar. Accommodations for physiological limitations must be discussed with the judge beforehand and are subject to the judge’s discretion.
We’ll be using Texas Deadlift Bars.
