Overview

The 2024 America’s Strongest Man, America’s Strongest Woman, America’s Strongest Man 90kg, and America’s Strongest Woman 82kg will take place on Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th at the Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Competition

Check-ins and media will happen on October 10th. The 90kg men and 82kg women will compete in the mornings, and the Open men and women will compete in the evenings.

To compete, you must have a Strongman Corporation Pro Card in the division you’re competing in, or receive an invitation from Strongman Corp. Invitations are being emailed to some athletes or sent via Instagram from the @americasstrongest account to others.

There is no cost to register for anyone with a pro card in the division you’re competing in, and for any of the 90kg men who qualified by way of getting top 3 at 2023 America’s Strongest Man, 2023 Nationals, 2024 Arnold, or the 2024 Nationals.

The Legacy

The America’s Strongest Man and Woman competitions have been the most prestigious all-American events since their debut in 1997. Past champions include three-time winner Derek Poundstone, two-time winner Brian Shaw, and other legends such as Travis Ortmayer, Jerry Pritchett, Trey Mitchell, Dimitar Savatinov, and Bobby Thompson. On the open women’s side, champions include Kristin Rhodes, Brooke Sousa, Jessica Fithen, Victoria Long, and Angelica Jardine.

Past champions in the 82kg category include Ashley Crawford, Casey Garland, Gabriele Burgholzer, Nadia Stowers, and Erin Murray.

Andrew Pepiot was the inaugural champion in the 90kg class.



The Olympia

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the Olympia Fitness and Performance Weekend and the legendary Mr. Olympia bodybuilding championship. The Olympia is back in Vegas, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
