Overview

America’s Strongest Master, the Strongman National Championship for athletes 40 years old and older, is coming up on September 5th and 6th in Las Vegas, NV!

We’re thrilled to announce our official partnership with the 2025 World Masters Weightlifting Championship and the Masters of Strength Festival for the upcoming America’s Strongest Master competition!

Join us at the iconic Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino for two full days of competition on Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th, 2025. Athlete check-in, weigh-ins, and the rules meeting will take place on Thursday, September 4th.

Our competition hotel is the Westgate Las Vegas. Book by 8/4/2025 to get the discounted rate. Staying in our competition hotel is optional, but close to the venue and at a great rate.

To ensure broader representation and fairer competition, we’re adding two new classes:

• Women’s 40+ 73kg
• Men’s 40+ 80kg

Top three from each division qualify for the 2026 Arnold Masters Strongman World Championship.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for 2025 America’s Strongest Master, athletes must meet one of the following criteria between October 12, 2024 and August 6, 2025:

• Place top 3 in a Masters division at any Strongman Corporation sanctioned competition
OR
• Place top 5 in an Open (non-Masters) division at any Strongman Corporation sanctioned competition

Additionally, automatic qualification is granted to:
• Any athlete who holds a Strongman Corporation Pro Card
• Any athlete who has ever won:
• Strongman Corporation Amateur Nationals
• Arnold Strongman World Championship
• America’s Strongest Master

Classes

Athletes can compete in any class they’re eligible for. They do not need to compete in the same class they qualified in.
You must have been born on or before September 5th, 1985 to compete in the 40+ classes. You must have been born on or before September 5th, 1975 to compete in the 50+ classes.

Dates and Deadlines

Early Bird Entry: Now through 4/19/2025
Events will begin to be released the week of 4/20/2025
Hotel Deadline: 8/4/2025
Entry Deadline: 8/7/2025
Entries received after 8/7/2025 will have a $80 late fee.
Extra shirts and coaches passes need to be in by 8/7/2025 to guarantee names will be on the shirts and badges.
Late entry ends on 8/21/2025
Weigh-ins and Rules Meeting: 9/4/2025
Competition Days: 9/5/2025 and 9/6/2025



Competition

Competitors will compete in 6 disciplines over two days to crown America’s Strongest Master.

Weigh-ins will begin Thursday, September 4th at 9AM. Location to be announced. Rules meeting will be at 6PM. Late weigh-ins will be permitted, details will be posted closer to the competition.

Athlete’s must weigh in at or below the weight class they’re signed up for. There is no additional weight allowance – if you’re competing at 64kg, the scale must show 64.0 kg or less.

The event will be split up so athletes will only have to be there for half the day each day. Specifics will be announced closer to the show.

Competitors will be reordered based on overall points after each event.

Masters of Strength Festival

The Masters of Strength Festival is a multi-sport festival headlined by the 2025 IMWA World Masters Weightlifting Championship, where over 700 masters weightlifters will compete for the world title. The Festival also hosts CrossFit, powerlifting, adaptive weightlifting, and more.

The full festival is over 10 full days at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

Entry to the festival is included with event registration and coaches passes.
